outstanding service

"Service was absolutely outstanding as always. During breakfast, literally every single bowl I found was dirty, either had loose particles/dirt or stuck-on bits of something. I pointed it out to the staff, they removed the 8 bowls I had pulled out but left the rest of them. It's possible that it's impossible to get them perfect, but just letting you know."

"Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh! We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced. Staff were excellent. Friendly, polite and attentive. We would return."

Convenient for East Midlands Airport

"We stayed at Radisson as we had an early flight and it was much better value than the on-airport hotel. Restaurant was better too with really friendly service. Complimentary breakfast bars and fruit on reception for when you depart. You need to pre-book your minibus trip to the airport. To be collected from the airport to go to the hotel you have to find the special phone which is a little tricky."
