"Stayed here a few times now and it's always been great. Smart, clean hotel with an historic but modern feel. Great staff. Being city centre has no carpark, but a NCP multi storey is literally only a 5 min walk around the corner at lace market Bang on the city centre so everything at your fingertips"

"I often stay here as its usually the best value in Nottinham for a good, chain hotel, walking distance to the centre, with parking. I don't want to be right in the centre. For reference it took us less than 15 mins to walk back from the Castle Inn. It's right by Sainsburys (including petrol), McDonalds and a retail park. Rooms are usually good, clean with desk, small table and chair. Tea/coffee in room. Breakfast is good, have not eaten dinner there. One irritation is you do have to pay for parking £5 for 24 hrs. Will definately keep going back as long as they stay competative."

"I was in a bedroom at the front, single glazed sliding sash window that would not close. Night 1 I was awoken with shouts of “I want to die!” at 5-30 am. Upon looking out of the window I noticed 5 police cars outside, and they escorted a handcuffed man to a car and drove him away. Wide awake I decided to go to work and leave at 6-00am. Heading downstairs to the reception door I was prevented from entering by 4 Police officers who said that they have a “Major Incident” and I could not leave for around 40 minutes. After persuasion they let me leave via the garden and through an hole in the wall. Truly a memorable experience staying here!"

"Stayed here for one night prior to attending an event in central Nottingham the next day. Only a short drive from the M1 and about 15 mins drive from Nottingham. Large free car park at the hotel. The hotel itself any my room were in excellent condition and very clean. Everything worked, all the staff were friendly and helpful and I was able to set myself up for the day with a good breakfast before I left."

"Hotel is near the Jubilee campus but not near city centre. Clean and big room and staff was helpful. We had to pay for carpark at £6 per day. There used to be free carpark before this. It would be good if hotel guests are given free carpark like before as the price of the hotel stay is not cheap."
