"The place was great, the staff was kind and helpful. The hotel comes with bike rental facilities. If you are tired of walking around. Rent the bike for a day and drive around to go places. The hotel is right across from the beach and the street behind has nice places if you fancy a drink and want to play billiards. I would recommend people to choose this hotel over the other expensive hotels nearby."

"This guesthouse is basic, which is what I expected for the price I paid. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was hard but this suited me. The air-conditioning worked well too. The location was right in the heart of the entertainment which was great, the downside of that being the noise if you want an early night, so I'd recommend to bring ear plugs. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend here, great value for money "

"A great little hotel but without an elevator so be prepared for stairs if you end up in a room on the 4th. floor as I did. Luckily I was able to move to the 1st. floor within a few days. Unfortunately they could not supply a hotplate in my room so I could make my own espressos. Watch out for mosquitoes! The free water was a nice addition. The best part is the Dom Pizzaria out the front, which also has a range of Western dishes & breakfasts."

"The owners were super nice. We upgraded to a bungalow after staying 1 night in a tent. The only problem I had were the creepy crawlies.. which is obviously to be expected in Thailand, but this property was right at the edge of the jungle and we seen a lots bugs and creatures. The property was lovely though and the bungalows were very cozy. We would stay here again."

"The room and location were absolutely fine but it took almost 30 minutes for someone to arrive and check me in. When they arrive they take 500 baht from me to clean room but no one come to clean room in 2 weeks that I stay there. I have already paid for the room, it is not my responsibility to pay for the room to be cleaned when I check out. Also when I arrive, room not have WiFi, they come to fix the next day but this should have been all sorted when I arrived. Overall it’s a good place to stay...

"This was my first stay at the Amber, and I will be staying here again in my future visits. The hotel is in a great location. The pool is located adjacent to the main lobby along with a bar, restaurant, and fitness center. The whole hotel is spotless clean. A very pleasant surprise was finding the room also had usb A wall outlets, which saved me from buying a new international power plug adapter which I lost on my last trip. The thing I like the most about this hotel is the staff. Kee Jirada and the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful! "
