"Great atmosphere and friendly staff made our stay memorable. Blooms restaurant excellent. Also the good choice for breakfast with local produce very good."

"The condition of the room was dreadful. Tatty, tired, worn, scruffy, grim - not somewhere you would want to spend time and definitely not priced to reflect this. We would have been disappointed had it been half the price. I will say that the cleaning staff did a good job as our room was clean at least and it must be difficult to make a room like this clean. However the duvet cover was torn, the carpet was worn, the paintwork chipped and flaking, bathroom very basic. The whole thing needs...

"I stayed for one night while visiting my daughter at Chichester University and had hoped to find a hotel I could use regularly, but I will not be returning. The website says parking is available, but the hotel car park was difficult to find, extremely small and full. After a 2½-hour drive, I had to navigate a very busy town centre to find alternative parking, all of which was chargeable. The limited parking needs to be explained much more clearly before booking. Parking was good, but very tight on the night we were there as there was a wedding going on. But we still found a spot. In spite of how busy it was the staff coped really well and were cheerful to boot."

"Staff were lovely"

"This was a cute pub with rooms to let above. Our room was on one of the top floors. It was quite tiny, but with a nice view out the tiny window and had all we needed. Staff were lovely and the bar was lovely too."

"Quiet and well appointed room. Great breakfast."

"Really old hotel lots of character starting to look very dated in rooms Really could do with a refit and some modernisation"

"Friendly staff"
