"This place was great. The manager helped us out on all aspects she is a 5 star host. She really went out of her way to help out. Apartment is super clean, had a chance to workout in the gym and run down and get an expresso in the morning. I highly recommend this place to anyone, it was great. "

"The place had a great view but no sun on the deck (early October). The bed was a disappointment since it was a pullout sofa with 2 separate (very hard) beds. We did not realize we had to bring our own sheets and towels. Marcus arranges that we could walk to a ladies house and pay quite a bit of money to rent sheets for 3 days. There is a nice walking route connecting some nearby towns but you’ll want to drive to other towns for meals and outings (plenty enough close by) - not much in Colonno itself. The hillside is what gives you the view but also presents some “fun challenges” for street parking if the garage is not a good fit for for your vehicle size. "Good place to stay if your'e on a budget and want to be quite central in Lugano. You have a small balcony with the view of concrete walls. Sleeping in the sofa/bed works but of course not the best. If you are on the heavier side, you will feel the steel pipes on your back. "The house was right on the beach. We highly recommend it. But with a warning: The owner's description says "We inform you that the apartment is located in an area with external stairs to go through". We think people should know that there are A LOT of stairs (the equivalent of more than 4 flights) and it is difficult carry luggage down them. We had a lot of luggage so that made it difficult for us. But if you are young, healthy and don't have a lot of luggage the place is great."

"Our five days at the apartment was supposed to be rainy but ended up being warm and sunny every day. We loved being able to use the pool and the room was spacious and newly remodeled. The hosts were very accommodating and I enjoyed conversing with them. They provided me with tips on the area too. There was a nice bakery and a cortina restaurant a few minutes walk away.
