"Very nicely located property. 5-8 minutes to the water. Less than 1 km to train. Very competitive price. Only complaints, as they may be important to some renters. 4th floor walkup is 80 stairs to unit. Could be too much for some. Would've thought there would be instant coffee. Some would want tea. It's not there. Otherwise a great stay. All in all, these are minor issues unless they are deal breakers for you. They weren't for us"

"This apartment/condo seems like it was recently updated and was very comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing. Our only note is that you really should have a car to stay at this location. Walking to town involves walking for ~150 meters on the edge of the main road, which seemed dangerous while doing it. Also, DO NOT try to walk with luggage from the ferry."

"The place had a great view but no sun on the deck (early October). The bed was a disappointment since it was a pullout sofa with 2 separate (very hard) beds. We did not realize we had to bring our own sheets and towels. Marcus arranges that we could walk to a ladies house and pay quite a bit of money to rent sheets for 3 days. "We have been visiting Menaggio on a pretty regular basis since 1992 and have never had a bad experience. The Mira Al Lago was no exception. The place is marvelous. It is quiet, pleasant, clean, and offers a wonderful and relaxing view of Lago di Como from the house or from the perfectly placed patio. "We had a two bedroom apartment with the most amazing views over Lake Como. The property owner was friendly and helpful. Every morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the balcony with views of the lake. You have to walk roughly 4 to 5 minutes down to a carpark where you can catch a small train to Bellagio town centre. I would recommend this property to anyone. We found it wonderful. "

Lovely hotel right on the lake
"It looked good on the photos before we booked, but, when we arrived it was even better! We booked the day before after changing our plans so couldnt gat a lake view room, but our "side lake view" didnt disappoint. The staff were great, the food was first class and the view from the restaurant and terrace was exceptional. Argegno is small but there are maybe a dozen bars/cafes/restaurants within 2 minutes walk of the hotel. The ferry service and the bus to Como made the choice of location perfect. "
