"I am a bit surprised with the inflexibility and inconsideration After a10 hour overnight flight, the staff wouldn't consider any earlier checkin than 3 pm, and the room wasn't even ready by then, we had to wait until 3:30. But that is not the main issue, I had 2 separate bookings, one for the first night and one for 5 more nights for a bigger better room. I showed the staff the reservations and explained the issue of not being able to amend the existing booking of 5 nights. I asked if we can stay in the same room the whole stay, he wouldn't accept and had us stay in one room for the first night, repack, check out and check in again in another room. They also promised to replace the bottle of wine with a fruit platter twice (as we don't drink) and then they said it must be a trainee that said this."

"The staff were welcoming when we arrived and allowed is to leave our cases before checking time. The room was clean and had complimentary water and biscuits on arrival. We received free drinks voucher to use in the bar as we booked direct. The breakfast had a good selection of cooked and continental and also a fresh omelette making station which was delicious. Close to underground and bus routes. Would definitely stay again"

"The hotel is in a great location. It’s walking distance to Buckingham palace and other sites. It’s very close to Victoria Coach station where many tours originate. You can also walk down to the Thames and catch the Uber boat at Battersea. However, it’s also directly next to the train tracks so you hear the trains 24 hours a day. As expected, it’s an older property so the rooms are quite small and the bathroom is very tight. The windows don’t seal shut properly so you do hear a lot of street and train noise. Bring earplugs is you’re a light sleeper. The morning breakfast had a good selection. "

"Great experience. Its a smaller Hotel, but lacks nothing. Wonderful rooms, helpful and friendly staff, great location with South Kensington Tube station within 2 minutes reach. V&A, Natural History museum, science museum, Hyde Park are all nearby. We really enjoyedthe Ampersam. Thank you!"
