"Amazing location, close to everything and walkable. Lots of old world charm and very nice staff. Don't book this place if you don't want to adhere to their dress code -- they make it very clear, and it's part of the charm. The breakfasts and dinner we had at the restaurant were even better than expected. Some of the rooms have been redone, and so have not, so there is a variety of quality there. If you can splurge for the harbor view, it's lovely. May want to ask if the room you'll be assigned has been remodeled. There aren't enough plugs for modern electronics near the bedside, which I guess isn't surprising, but also a little frustrating in 2025. Also, the elevator is still out; we knew it was being remodeled in June, but thought the work was sheduled to be complete by end of June. It was still going on in the first week of July, just FYI."
