"I did not like this hotel. Pros were a nice park across the street and walkable ( a long walk) to grocery and restaurants. Cons were no plce to sit, unable to use pool because they rented pool for private parties and breakfast was terrible. No choice. Just hard boiled eggs mashed potatoes and coffee. Would NOT recommend."

"We had a studio with 2 beds. Beds were comfortable, a basically equipped kitchen with a good size fridge. A nice pool and a quiet upscale neighborhood with lots of restaurants nearby Very secure. Excellent value. I would stay again."

"We went to a concert at the Estadio Oñimpico and needed a close place to crash after. Aparthotel Alvear was perfect - we walked to the venue and home - there was a security guard outside when we gott back from the concert. Very simple check in . Rooms are dated but clean. The hotel smelled like cigarette smoke which was our only real compñaimt"
