"My wife and I loved this hotel. The location was ideal for Gaslamp fun and even better for going to a Padres game because there is direct access to the ballpark for hotel guests. The room was fantastic, clean, and smelled great. Vibes at the pool were great. Loved the coffee at Fres.co, drinks at Ace Porter, and the Tiki Social poolside pop-up at Tortuga was off the charts. Excellent service, too. A perfect home base for our first visit to San Diego -- and hopefully our next visit, too. Just one request: Put a chair on the balcony. :)"

"I was pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was. Especially because it is a Best Western. Best Western didn’t always have the best reputation. But this hotel was very clean, modern, spacious. I loved it. I would most definitely stay again."

"Location was terrific. Staff was very receptive and pleasant. Only downside was the elevators were being worked on but we were aware prior to arrival so no harm there. Will definitely return."
