"Clean and very nice rooms"

"Comfortable bed. Very clean. Temperature was hard to adjust. It kept turning to heat when going up more than a few degrees.The thermostat was set at 65 and I went to turn it to 70 and it switched to heat. I had to turn it up a few degrees at a time to let it cycle through. I eventually got it to stay on AC at 68. The ADA bathroom needs to have a shower curtain to prevent the floor becoming a lake. The remote was stuck on the same channel. Housekeeping came to fix it right away. The black out curtains had 6” that would not close so it casts a stripe of light on one sleeper."

"Our room was great. Overall, you can't go wrong here. A couple of nit-picks: 1) The windows don't do a great job of reflecting the heat ... our room was facing the morning sun and you could feel more heat than you would expect just being within a few feet of the CLOSED curtains - this could be WAY more efficient with the proper windows for the valley of the sun ... 2) The roof above the short half of the building (stops above the 8th floor) would be great for an outdoor reception space (or even a restaurant and/or play pool) ... totally wasted space and as is, a bit unsightly from the 9th floor and above ... it could be fantastic with the right decor!"

"Free parking and convenient location to several downtown attractions. Breakfast was a little crowded, but cofee was good."

"This place in Phoenix needs a new pastry chef. We had desserts a couple of times, and they were not good. If you put a pastry disk on top of a pudding, you should be able to put your fork through it. If you get a pastry disk with canned peaches on it, it should be fresh. Introduce better desserts with a new pastry chef. "

"The hotel is showing its age compared to other Hiltons I’ve stayed at, but it was perfect for my needs. "

"We chose the downtown Kimpton location, because I wanted to avoid large resort fees. The staff couldn't have been any kinder! My only note is that the rooms (we rented 2 rooms), seemed to show some wear & tear on the furniture. The bench had a large stain on it & the furniture had nicks on it. Other than that, the rooms were clean."
