"The hotel was fantastic, the room clean with a very comfortable bed, all facilities in bedroom hair dryer, tea making and toiletries, all the staff very friendly and polite especially Kayley at check in and out and a special shout out to Nat who was friendly, informative and nothing was to much bother Only slight downside had a bar meal on the Friday night starters came out at different times mine was eaten before my wife’s came out and the pizza was burnt on the bottom "

"Nothing was too much trouble. We were staying as a family 16 of us for our mothers funeral and they were kind and welcoming . Breakfast was great - fabulous to have a gluten free section all of its own. Fridge in room was a great feature. Pity it did not contain fresh milk for tea and coffee. Better for the environment than the little plastic containers - which you need two of for each cup of tea/coffee. The restaurant Food was good - although a little over priced. "

Our kettle wasn't working properly and unfortunately there weren't any replacements available but otherwise everything was in good condition and very clean. "Arrived at 2am from Gatwick, which was expected.The hotel was extremely quiet and we slept well. Unfortunately the night porter had told us that breakfast would be available until 10.30am, which is the case at the weekend but not on weekdays. When we arrived for breakfast at 10am the staff could not have been more helpful and offered to cook us fresh bacon rolls. "

"The George Hotel was a great place to stay for my son's wedding at Fison Barn, Little Whittenham. We stayed for two nights and wished that we had booked for longer. The staff was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the rooms were characterful. My mother stayed in the accessible room and enjoyed the facilities easily. We hope to get back to you soon. "

"The only bad thing was the bedroom unit at the back of the lovely big White House front was shabby and dirty outside. It needed cleaning or painting.
