"Cozy, cute, lots of character, and located on a beautiful farm. Loved meeting the dog. We stayed in the wintertime, so there wasn't running water in the bungalow to wash hands/dishes, but jugs of water and easy refills were provided. Hot showers were at the main house, but the floor could have been a little cleaner, we had to wear sandals. Overall a lovely and unique trip, would stay again."

"I arrived at night. It was cold in the barn, I was told the heat was turned on, I don’t think it was enough time for my arrival to heat up the barn. Alas the heat warmed up the room and I slept ok. Just be aware that there is a rooster or two that Will wake you up. First time was 3 am and the second one was 4:14 am. I don’t think they were on new time change. Other than that it was rustic and peaceful. Thank goodness for a small lamp with a usb port! I brought the wrong charger 藍. Cayenne came to say good bye by barking and saying thanks for being here "

"my family has stayed in several places in Maine and this place is by far the best place we have stayedl in !!! Barbara and Jordan were great hosts and we plan on going back as soon as we can. The place may be pricey, but you get what you pay fir I highly recommend taking your family and friends to the lake house."

"The Little Loon Cabin on Donnell Pond was a lovely getaway. The listing didn’t do the cabin and atmosphere justice. Mornings on the water were beautiful. Fall colors were mirrored on the pond. It was such a quiet and meditative space, perfect for reading, writing, and just being. From the early morning loon calls to the stars in the evenings - it was perfect. I especially enjoyed the book collection and having the opportunity to read about Dan's mother was extra special. "

"Amazing views and this VRBO has everything you need to enjoy the lake that is literally right off the deck! Sunsets are amazing and water is crystal clear. The home is a cozy cabin that makes you feel the peace and serenity. There is a firepit, tree house, lake toys, kayaks, fishing supplies, and much more to enjoy your stay. I would stay here again!"

"This clean, peaceful and full-of-love home on a lake will stick with you long after you leave. We stayed for four nights (a mistake—we could have spent a week!) and genuinely would recommend it to anyone exploring Acadia/Downeast ME. Our kids (ages 8&10) fished off the dock mornings and evenings, we kayaked, canoed, SUP’d, and just sat outside taking in the view. We made multiple meals at the house and had everything we needed including the basics like oil/vinegar/salt/pepper/butter. We played cards and read books and watched hummingbird-territory battles. We did venture to Acadia two days: strongly advise against Mount Desert Island in the summer! However, Schoodic was amazing and so peaceful by comparison. We also recommend getting tickets one night to go to Timber Tina’s Lumberjack Show in Trenton—my kids are still talking about it. And lastly, communication with Tim was easy and quick; he even helped when we needed to amend our reservation in the month before we came. The only issue we had, and this is personal for me, was that the beds were very soft—I love a hard bed and they were not to be found here. However, all my family loved the beds except me! Overall, this is a 5-star VRBO and you’d be lucky to find it available!"
