"Great place to stay, went for a wedding it was perfect"

"I stayed here for 1 night as I had an early morning flight. The hotel is in a good location, 5 minute walk from the train station and around 10-15 from Terminal 2. Check-in was good and the manager Steph was lovely. The staff I spoke to in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The food was also good, but expensive. The room was clean and comfy. However, the hand and body lotion had run out in the shower. Thankfully, I was able to use the other one in the bathroom. I notified the staff member working reception when I was left at approximately 2:30-2:45am but he didn't seem to care and said that housekeeping check these things. They clearly didn't check my room. Despite the issue with the amenities running out in the shower and the receptionist having an indifferent attitude, I would stay at Tribe again."

"An absolute hidden gem! What an extraordinary find in the heart of Didsbury. I was visiting family and just needed somewhere quiet and convenient for the night. The staff were so warm and welcoming and the room was a delight. "

"The hotel's access is a bit mysterious. When we reached to the correct place to check-in, we were introduced to the staff at that moment who made us feel that we are a burden on them. We arrived earlier than our check-in time and we were okay with waiting for the start of check-in time. However, we were also curious if we could do early check-in, and when we asked for availability, the staff working at that moment first showed horrific emotions as if we asked for something impossible, and then they started mumbling in their own native language. Whenever we were trying to have a conversation with them, they always cut us off and spoke too fast as if they have no time and they have to catch a train. After some time when they found a room for us to check-in early, they acted as they are doing a favour on us. All in all it was a very bad experience and it ruined our excitement to explore Manchester."

"we stayed there a few years ago so thought it would be good. alas it's is no longer well maintained. it's definitely in decline. no information about the restaurant side. when o left to go out o had to use the side door as there was a key pad to main door but no information on what number to use"
