"Don’t stay here until their renovations are finished. There is no AC on the main and second floors. When our AC stopped working in our room, we told the front desk and nothing was done. It wasn’t until we randomly were asked by the maintenance manager how things were going that we actually got help. It’s because of him I’m giving this property 2 stars. Twice when our room was “cleaned” they did the bare minimum and didn’t even empty garbages. Would not stay here again."

"Cute little lodge . The front desk is open only 9 to 5. Provisions are made for coming and going after hours. Parking is directly behind the building. Free 8pm to 8am . 50 cents an hour otherwise. Easy to pay with app. Location is convenient for theaters and restaurants. You can walk everywhere. Hotels in this area are very high priced and this one is no exception, but a little less than the big chains. We therefore chose the least expensive room with a king bed as we were staying only 1 night...

"The room was very large and spacious. It was clean when we arrived, and we stayed for 3 days and only had maid service one time. The pool is great, but not very warm and there is no spa. Breakfast was very nice and you could cook your own waffles or pancakes. I would stay there again."

That said, we were welcomed with very a friendly, informed, efficient front of house - coffee tea and water available. Apparently, the hotel has changed hands and has new management - no breakfast available. We complained - we were grateful for a generous refund. "The restaurant was closed during our entire stay and we were not informed that they would be doing an update to their systems until we arrived to check in. This meant no power, lights or use of elevators. We also were cut off from heat in the middle of winter."
