"This is, of course, a bush camp, ina private game reserve about 3 hours drive from Joburg. We were droppped off at the main gate by a driver arranged through the African Pride Hotel in Melrose Arch-all went well. We were met by Jonad, from the loghe, and for the next three days he and his staff looked after everything and did a spectacular job. "A bit average for the rate per night. Lock to the upstairs viewing patio was broken and we could go outside to see the view. Safe didn’t open. The resort is running on skeleton staff and limited resources. everyone is always busy and the promises could not be met. Food wasn’t the best. "

"This lodge just does not have the WOW factor. Lacks that special feeling,that does not cost any money. Although staff were very friendly, the waiters were absolutely nowhere in terms of other skills - basic waitering and communication skills lacked. Overall, the place lacks refinement and the managers/owners lack attention to detail. No water in the rooms is unacceptable,and then for your own account,where one bottle a day is somewhat standard. The quality of the food was particularly average...
