"Very very welcoming place to be, had my 50th birthday with family and friends and it was wonderful, the venue, food and presentation was first class service. On arrival, we had help caring our bags all the way to our room and would like to give a warm thank you to the Porter called Paul Walker for helping us carrying our luggage, very respectful and professional. "Perfect location good bar "

"The building is tired , stair carpet threadbare. A shame as it’s a beautiful building. Needs TLC. We found the staff ok but inexperienced, they need more training. Our room was clean and comfortable. Gardens stunning. At breakfast there was a lot of people without food as they said they had run out. "

"Good overall but room above the kitchen so the sound of pumps/motors all night could be challenging if you're a light sleeper. However there are other rooms away from the Kitchen. Lots of stairs so not good if stairs are a challenge"
