"There are no private showers at this property. This may not be an issue for most people, but I read a misleading review which made me book this property thinking there were private showers and that is NOT the case. "This property was as traditional as it gets. Two Onsens to bath in. Each have separate times for men and women. Provide multicourse dinner that was as traditional as you can get. The breakfast was multiple items and also a classic meal. Very good. Room didn’t have a view but it had traditional tea set up along with kimonos to wear and traditional bedding. "Excellent place to stay. The gentleman at the hostel offers pick up and drop services from Yudanaka station, Snow monkey park and some onsens in Yamanouchi. Although he speaks only Japanese, he uses a translator and tries his best to communicate with you. We will be staying here again when we come back."
