"The "Hotel" is actually a set of apartment rentals in a very large, gated condo development being built on a supposedly protected coastline in Basilicata. Substantial sections of the development appear unfinished or abandoned. The apartments are large, air conditioned and well furnished and ideal for a week-to-month beach stay with children. The quite beautiful beach is a substantial walk away, but serviced by a development-owned shuttle van. The development isn't near anything else, so unless...

"Beautiful property! Rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. Cleaning was done daily. Breakfast was wonderful! Staff was attentive and helpful! I would absolutely visit again when in Matera! Thank you for the wonderful experience. Wish we’d been able to stay longer!"

"Resort is incredibly beautiful. Most if the staff were very friendly. However the keycard I had to purchase for 30e did not work at restaurant and bar. And the property is very large. I was directed back to the check in twice which was annoying the second time. And they don’t accept cash or visa. Just the key card. I had no choice but to order the buffet- a la carte was no available. Aside from this I enjoyed my short 1 night stay. Ps no one answers the phone, tv remote doesn’t work and neither...

"Great hotel. Super comfty bed and nice touches. Air conditioning was excellent. Really helpful to have a fridge and coffee machine /kettle. Would be useful to have some polystyrene cups and some different types of tea (English breakfast) /milk. Excellent customer service and communication throughout. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you. "This is a property in the Sasso Caveoso in Matera, the most incredible and one of the most ancient places on earth. The views of the Sassi and the caves are incredible and the room carved in the rock was spacious and comfortable. I would have added a TV close to the bed and a second sink in the bathroom but altogether the place is great. Very good service ans evryone is superfriendly and helpful. Also great the breakfastr buffet"
