"Room was ready after the 4pm check in time. Some guests were offered complimentary drinks at bar for this inconvenience. This was not the case for us. No information about wifi, breakfast or facilities given upon check-in. Hotel's beach club was closed once we had checked in and for the entirety of our stay 5 days prior to the start of Cannes Film Festival. Which was disappointing. "The Hotel is just a short walk to Cannes centre. Also very near to the train station, ideal if flying into Nice. All staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The evening wine tasting is a bonus and a great opportunity to meet other visitors. We really enjoyed our stay at The Cavendish and would highly recommend this hotel. "
