This was a heck of an early start to climb Mt Sneffels. I was very lucky to get these wonderful colors after a 4.50am start. A night sleeping in the back of the truck at the trailhead. It was worth it as I managed to miss the afternoon storms.

"The facility is nice. It got confused in the booking that i specified ground floor and got the second floor. The food in the restaurant is decent but served on paper plates and not a great dining ambiance. Rooms are clean and hot springs are nice. Cant beat the view. A little lame that the pool closes at 10 in summer. Over all 4/5. "

"We recently stayed at this wonderful hotel and had a fantastic experience! The rooms were impeccably clean, making my stay exceptionally comfortable. "My wife and I had an amazing several day stay at the China Clipper Inn. It reminded us of a Bed and Breakfasts you see in the movies. The Inn Keeper, Kristen and son Rafe are amazing hosts. They do their best to ensure a great experience. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast is incredible. You will not be disappointed. We are already wanting to plan a return trip. "
