"Very loud next door to a bar"

"We only stayed one night in Puerto Vallarta before heading to Nuevo Vallarta. The Tropicana was nice, we booked a superior room withe pool view but to our surprise was also a partial ocean view. We did not use the pool since it was raining that evening. We look forward to staying there again for a longer stay in the future since we loved how close the hotel is to the ocean."

"I liked that only persons with room cards had access to building. Also that there was shops nearby was a plus."

"Clean room, had a coffee/sandwich bar in the reception area."

"Excellent location, very clean, well equipped, comfortable bed, quiet. The housekeeping team are especially friendly. Safe and would highly recommend for solo female travellers."
