"Our stay at Villa Maria Tayrona was absolutely perfect. We had the deluxe double room that had a stunning all around sea and jungle view. The food was great, the staff was incredibly accommodating and so very friendly. The beach is at a 7min walk on a beautifully adorned and paved walkway. If you are looking for a quiet place in the middle of nature with a jungle feel but close to the sea I definitely recommend this place. "Hotel Don Pepe is definitely a touch of
luxury
in the middle of historic Santa Marta. While this isn’t directly on the beach, it’s 2 minute walk to the main beach promenade. Additionally, it’s incredibly close the main pedestrian activity of the town. I’d say the winning feature of the hotel is the incredibly attentive service and how friendly the staff was. We stayed here for 5 nights and were certainly sad when we needed to leave."

"My first hostal experience and not my last, after this reservation I booked again the very next day. Definitely would recommend, bed was comfy, water was hot enough, I like how it’s actividades to do. The food was aight, but you can cook your own meal in the comunal kitchen which was pretty wicked.
