"We loved to stay at this hotel despite other bad reviews. Only big problem the heat. The hotel is not ready when it comes to hot days. There where conditioners but didn't really worked and the rooms where very hot at night and during the day. But breakfast was excellent and so the rest of our stay"

"Plug in sink jammed, couldn’t have a wash. So hot, no air conditioning. Shower was great. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Next door was very noisy."

This is likely more of a personal request but since they have communal changing areas, bigger towels for those guests that just can't quite fit normal towels would be an appreciated addition - it's the little things! "Two night stay at Marwell Zoo.Nice 'safari' style hotel situated right next to the Zoo. Plenty of convenient parking and quite an unusual hotel but also very nice. Pleasant comfortable room and bar area. Nice but unexceptional breakfast, but overall very good value!"

"Because of our timing we weren’t able to partake in food at the hotel at either end of the day. Unfortunate as the breakfast has always been great, Our room was cool which given the ridiculous heat, was amazing. The staff, as always were courteous and professional. We will continue to use this venue on our overnight stays in the Reading area."
