"We had a holiday with 9 family members aged 0-85 plus a dog in July. The house is large and charming, has a small woodland behind it which has deers, and a large garden in front: perfect for kids and dog to roam around free. We had a simple but lovely holiday going for walks and playing board and outdoor games during the day and enjoying BBQ in the evening. Supermarkets are within 10 min driving distance. "We stayed for one night on the way to Germany. The hotel is convenient for the A7/E42. Our room was compact but very clean and comfortable. The restaurant wasn’t open, but there were a number of meals available at the small bar. After a long day in the car, we enjoyed a walk along the nearby canal."
