"Wonderful experience! A stately & historical large ryokan nested on the eastern hill slope of Gero town. My second stay at this ryokan & will continue to stay there next time I am in Gero. Very good vista of the town in the morning or evening. Very large garden & landscape, with tall tress & seasonal flower trees.or bushes.. a beautiful & varied feast for the eyes & senses if one come at different seasons... Has its own hotel museum to showcase it's checkered history & early artifacts, etc....

"This is a traditional Japanese Onsen Ryokan with the option of Rotemburo for a fully authentic Onsen experience. The room sport traditional Japanese tatami and shoji coupled with comfortable futon beds that will lull you into some of the sweetest slumbers. However, those are not the best features of Aihoukan; Eri-san is the hallmark of service excellence. Coming from a tropical country, I have very little experience of maintaining a car in snowy climate. Eri-san took really good care of me and...

"三連休中の中日に夫婦で一泊しました。 温泉は妻が気にいって入ってました。 夕食は、どの料理も調理してから、かなり時間が経った料理に感じました。 天ぷら 、焼魚など完全に冷めていて、とても食べる気にならず。 また、飛騨牛の陶板焼が出ましたが火力不足でなかなか焼けず、弱火で焼いた飛騨牛も食べる気になりませんでした。 配膳の順番も間違え、シメの料理の最後に刺身の盛り合わせが出るなどしました。"
