"The road was long and windy to get there, but the welcome and beauty of the place vastly made up for it! The property is less than 30 minutes from the center of Santiago, located in a green valley. The main house dates from the early 18th century, with thick granite walls, and has been wonderfully restored with all modern comfort (including good wifi!). "Comfortable but music till 11pm is not appropriate. The place is more interested in being a meeting place than a hotel. Breakfast is a joke with a cup of coffee and a croissant with cling film wrapped cake. High on appearance but exceptionally low on substance, discount the mini bar, toiletries and bath robe, and you can start rhe day hungry."

"I will start off by saying this is a valid cheap option. There is a bus that goes to the city center but it is not frequent and run every 3-4 hours. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As for the room itself, I understand why it is one star. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and the bathroom floor was always wet due to what we discovered was leaking out of the base of the toilet. "

"The Hotel is clean comfortable and the staff helpful. The Bar us only open for 4 hours in the evening. There is no restaurant and Bar food choice was very uninspiring. The Hotel is located in the outskirts of town with very limited choice of restaurants in the vicinity. The pool looked as if had been empty for a long while. It really seems to be targeting the commercial market not leisure travellers. "
