"The hotel is the perfect central location for the city and everything is within walking distance. Wonderful front desk staff who managed to answer all my questions! I loved the rooms and the view from the room and the amazingly soft bed. Nice glass shower with good pressure too. The breakfast buffet area has an amazing view -- it is so cool to see all the snow capped Alps around you. The buffet was very good, with super alpine ham too!"

"Overall this is a wonderful property with a very good restaurant. The room was large and very nice. However, there was no AC or fan to push the air around. There were a lot of mosquitoes, so leaving a door or window open was not an option due to no screens. So my only suggestion would be to offer some type of fan during the summer stays"

"The hotel was immediately off of the highway, so really convenient to get to. It is relatively quiet, very clean and reasonably comfortable. WiFi was great and there is ample parking on site. "Das Falkenstein is on the outskirts of Kaprun, so it would be most helpful to have a car, which I did. It's a traditional Austrian hotel with that style of decor. Everything was super clean, my single room was very comfortable, the WiFi was great, and the breakfast was plentiful (even fresh watermelon), farm fresh eggs (their own chickens, which I "visited" out back!). Free parking right out front with more across the street, where the scenic river rushed by. Staff was very nice and helpful....
