Very friendly staff

The staff really went out of their way to be helpful and made my stay a real pleasure. The breakfast was excellent, and I had two very tasty dinners as well. Highly recommended!

A wonderful family-run hotel in a small hamlet

A wonderful family-run hotel in a small hamlet. Fabulous service, great food, comfortable rooms, even an indoors swimming pool and a sauna bath. Great Finnish sauna, also. A great example of a traditional, romantic Austrian country hotel. When arriving by train, it is a good idea to pre-arrange transport from the Mallnitz-Obervellach train station - there are no taxis around, and the station is quite far from any village.
