"We chose the hotel for it's convenient location in the city of Orotina , where we were visiting relatives . The staff was good , perhaps a little inattentive on check out. The reception office was closed and I had to look around for someone to return my key. Be advice there's is a very noisy soccer academy right next door . We were alocated on room 11 , close to the academy . It can be an issue if you are trying to rest early evening ."

"The main bed was small for two adults and the resort itself was a bit run down. The tennis courts and pool were not usable. The kitchen had a good supply of pans, utensils, and kitchen tools. The area itself was super quiet."

"David is an amazing host, and his Villa is outstanding. We felt like we were on a resort, but didn’t have to spike a chair by the pool at 6 am. David went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. My Wife, Sister and Brother-in-Law spent 4 weeks, and the place was perfect for our longer term stay. Property manger looked after the yard, and made sure pool was clean, and BBQ always had propane! Thanks to Justino! We’ll be back David!"

"The house was beautiful- set in peaceful surroundings. The infinity pool overlooking the valley was stunning. All furnishings and appliances were top quality. We are a professional couple who were working remotely for a week and this place suited us perfectly. Visitors should be aware it is a little off the beaten track as are many of the most beautiful properties in Costa Rica but the property managers are knowledgeable and can be helpful in planning activities and excursions."

"As a family of 3 adults, we enjoyed our stay at Roy's guest house. We chose it in part for its more rural setting though it is very close to town. We had hoped to use the large pool and hiking trails at the Adventist camp next door, but it was closed due a large event they were holding. "Resort was perfect for a family or non family stay. You could walk out to the beach but it’s all tiny rocks. Could not get into the water because tide was high which is like that most of the time in that location. About 10 minute down the road you could. Pool was nice. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Property maintenance worked super hard to keep property clean and nice. Location is central of the town so you have food, snacks, drinks, shopping! Great first visit to Costa Rica."

"This hotel has a fantastic staff, great accommodations, and was a lot of help in making our trip a breeze. Fabian was a huge help in organizing our transportation to and from the San Jose airport. "I liked just about everything about Lia. The all adult was starters, room was up to date and comfortable. We had the ocean view which gives you a direct view to the beach and ocean. Bar was awesome and breakfast and outside eating area with beach and ocean behide you was breathtaking. Beds was super comfortable. The only thing I would recommend is better parking for guests. "My wife and I loved Clarita’s. The property is prestine and newly remodeled. The downstairs cafe/bar and sushi restaurant were excellent. The ocean views and sunsets were incredible either on the beach or the rooftop deck. It was truly a magical experience. Additionally, the rooms and bathrooms were roomy and super clean and the toilets! Japan style they were honestly a game changer.
