"Eduardo and Betty were FABULOUS! They could not have been nicer, more courteous hosts! The house was perfection and the home cooked meals were INCREDIBLE!The property itself is BREATHTAKING and very secure. It is behind a heavy electric gate, so we felt very safe!Eduardo communicates very efficiently and was so helpful in navigating our excursions… I hope some day to be able to have the privilege of staying at Gósen again and would give it 10 stars!! "The owner greeted us with a beautifully set table with a fresh loaf of bread, butter and an assortment of tees and fresh coffee. They assisted us with information to local stores and restaurants. "Lovely casita on unique, secure, private, beautiful grounds in the mountains north of San Jose. Eduardo and Betty made our first visit to Costa Rica amazingly special! They have become wonderful friends and I’m certain that we’ll stay in touch. "

"The house was well maintained and comfortable (we didn't spend a lot of time there, but the kitchen was well appointed, beds were comfortable) and the location was perfect for hiking Volcan Barva and starting our CR trip. "The property sits on a hill so walking to shops was not an option for us. However, we had no problems getting a taxi when we wanted to venture out! The rooms are absolutely amazing!!
