"I stayed as a solo guest as i had been to a local wedding. Checkin on arrival after the wedding was quick, the room was clean and comfy, with a good refreshment tray, however missed having mint tea bags as a choice, both in room and at breakfast. "A delightful hotel with friendly, professional and efficient staff. The breakfast is self service and very varied with continental or English. The rooms are spacious, clean and have tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a bar in the hotel that leads out to beautiful gardens. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the train station where you can get services to London, High Wycombe and Oxford. Highly recommended. "

"The room was very clean if a little tired. The bed was comfy and the bathroom a good size. A few basics were missing though such as a toilet lid and sanitary bin. The bedroom is advertised as a single room but I didn't have space to open my suitcase properly. Not a massive issue but something to bare in mind if you don't travel light. The reception staff were lovely and there was always ample parking of an evening. "
