"We had a nice time staying at the Reef, but were disappointed in the lack of choices for dinner without the necessity of traveling to one of the other three Atlantis locations. I was also very disappointed in the lack of places to shop for souvenirs. I had to pay for a taxi downtown to find proper souvenir shops."

"This was our first stay at a RIU property and we had some trouble loading the RIU app and getting dinner reservation our first night. Dinning at the Atlantic (no reservation required) was available most hours and the food selection was extensive and excellent. Staff throughout the facility were super!"

"We made a reservation within 6 hours of checking in. Hotel feels safe from the moment entering, attentive staff, Bellmam tagged luggage until check in time, cam/walking distance from Down town. We moved from Bahamar to Margaritaville with no problem. Hotel is in Best Location for shopping & close by where Cruise Ships dock. "

"Property was dated like other people have said but it was still nice. Very clean even walking the halls it smelled very clean. Been in a lot of resorts and the common smell in the halls is musty. Not here. Food was good. We had the Asian one night (Don’t recommend the desserts though) Buffett was very good. But the grill by the pool was excellent. Recommend the fish for sure but it was all great. Jerk chicken was very spicy so be warned but I loved it. All in all it’s a great place. Not many people in hotel I think they get more day passes than anything. We walked next door to baha mar to casino. If that’s your thing you will be pleasantly surprised. It’s super nose resort but no all inclusive. So I would stay next door because you can still walk over and use there amenity’s, restaurants, and casino if you want. "
