"I can’t write enough great things about Pax Yoshino. This was my first time staying at a Ryokan and it did not dissapoint. The stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel is pristine and the rooms were immaculate. The inane on the top floor were absolutely beautiful. The staff was so very nice and spoke English. The Keiseki dinner was my absolute favorite. Authentic Japanese food cooked right at your table. My only disappointment was that I could not stay longer. 10/10. "

"Such a pleasant hotel experience! The staff was beyond helpful and very friendly. There are both Japanese and western dining options at the hotel, as well as a delicious breakfast buffet. I would recommend at least booking breakfasts when you arrive as there are not many easily walkable restaurants, and the area is very hilly. "Located up a steep 45 degree hill, so take the hotel up on their offer when they say they will pick you up! 400m doesn’t seem far until you drag luggage up that hill in 32 degrees Celsius heat and humidity! Booked as a break from the city, and to get views of Mount Fuji from the cable car ride accessible from the nearby station. Loved our stay! Room food and staff all excellent. We should have booked longer to explore the area in more detail and loved relaxing in the open air bath."
