"We had a beautiful week in Lubec. House had everything we needed, and more. Spent our first few days relaxing and listening to music, great CD collection. Bed was comfortable and it was great to wake up and have coffee and look out over the water."

"Can’t say enough good things about this house. It was perfect. Every detail was thought through from the abundance of cozy blankets to the cute fireplace heaters in every room. The house was super clean and just perfect. We only had two adults staying a few nights for work travel (pretending it was a girls week lol) but I could see it comfortably fitting lots of people as there was so much space! I wish it was warmer out so I could have taken advantage of the outside spaces. Hope I get to come...

"Third time to Woodland Pointe! Have made trips in 2008, 2017, and 2024, each successively better and more impressive than those previous! This gem in the forests of the Bold Coast never disappoints and provides easy access to areas such as Acadia/Bar Harbor, Campobello Island, Grand Manan Island, and local hiking trails near Cutler. It is clean, warm, inviting, cozy, and simply feels like home! On a scale from 1-10, it is a total 10 out of 10!"

"I want to live here. I love the location, walking out to the fire pit seating area, the house decor, deck, and comfy beds. Proximity to town as well as Quoddy Head hiking trails. Good distance for day trips to Acadia and other lovely Maine spots. Catherine responded quickly to every message I sent. Smooth check in process too. I hope to stay here again and again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely house. There was plenty of room to relax. The heated in ground salt water pool was a great spot to unwind at the end of the day. We enjoyed walking to the Lubec Brewing Company and local shops. I would recommend that visitors bring their passports as the bridge to Campobello Island is so close! We hope to rent again next year!"

"PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked...

"9 of us came from out of the country to shoot some photos of the stars out near Acadia National Park; Connie's house was lovely and a good place to call home base. Only thing we were not too keen on were the sleeping situations, as some of us had to double up on the beds, but the listing says that 11 are able to sleep comfortably. A more accurate listing of the available beds would be ideal, but it was only a minor inconvenience that we worked through. Connie was very helpful and eager to help,...

"Kudos to Host Mary!!! Excellent accommodations!!! Charming, comfy, convenient to restaurants and shopping in Eastport. The house is beautifully decorated with ample seating inside and outside on the spacious porch. Especially appreciated how well equipped the house was right down to tissues in every room! The kitchen had everything you could need or want. The selection of wine glasses was a perk."

"The shoreline here is really beautiful, with rugged rocks and boulders and sea cliffs. The views from the cottage are lovely. The kitchen is well stocked. A very nice coffee pot! Views from the main bedroom are great. Cottage is rounded by beautiful evergreens and there is a set of rocking chairs where you can enjoy the view. A walk down the shore brings you to caves in one direction and a rocky beach in the other direction. Machias is a great town with a terrific brewpub and Helen’s for pie!"
