We came here from Altavista Va, and got to our destination later that day then expected due to traffic …we already felt welcome when we got there.Garage doors was open so we could immediately enter…once we entered upstairs fresh air was coming thru the doors which felt amazing…we all loved each room with had history in each one…we can all say we slept like babies that night…it has a beautiful back deck to watch the bay…must see view…very relaxing home to get away and just relax would stay there again…if you do wanna stay in Eastport..be aware not many places to eat and if you do eat early…Polar Treat 10/10 …most sight seeing 2+ hours …if you are elderly or bad knees etc be careful cause stairs to get upstairs are right steep and you must go up them…but if you just wanna chill, relax and just be unplugged then..this is a great place …I wld def stay again …
What a great time we had at this amazing property! Great experience from start to finish. Great place, awesome owner and very helpful property manager! We had so much fun enjoying the house, property and nature around the house. Absolutely breathtaking views from the property!!! If you want to have a great time with no worries, this is your place. We will definitely be back!!!
Big thank you Mrs Brothy and Walter!!!
Rossport has an unbeatable setting and the house we rented was a great way to unplug and relax for a few days. Eastport and Lubec, which we visited by ferry, were nice but we had plenty of time to relax at our house on Rossport. We would definitely recommend Rossport and Downeast Maine!
My 14 yr old son and I visited Rossport mid July initially for a 4 day stay, but so thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful property decided to prolong our stay for a couple of more days and had there been availability would have added yet another couple of days. We loved the quiet, thoughtful purpose, and the lovely quirkiness the owners Ross and Deb have built into the many cottages and overall property. If you look closely much of the decor and art work reflect Ross's property and there is original antiques and architecture in the Capt. Jacob Lincoln Farm House. The Red Barn Community Center is full of interesting collectibles and a great place for all ages and family's to gather. We will be back!
A wonderful place to stay. Ross owns a compound, with numerous buildings, which can be as private or as communal as you like. Animals on the property (our young daughter picked fresh eggs from the henhouse for our breakfast), and Ross gave us a splendid grand tour. It is a real wonder. Cold spring season, though!

Beautiful and peaceful
Once again Ross was a great informative host for this beautiful property. We had an enjoyable time. We walked the trails and pebbly beach. One morning we enjoyed viewing a large bald eagle drinking from the pond nearby. The open views to the ocean, pasture, and fields are fantastic. Sitting around an evening campfire, with the sun setting, was a blessing, too. If one needs a "quiet repose" they will find it here. We hope to visit more in the future. It is a great location with resources for multiple family groups to all stay there if one wishes. Thanks for having us, Ross and Deb!

Paradise
Ross and Deb were wonderful hosts, so accommodating and yet very respectful of personal space. I would highly recommend Rossport if your looking for peace and quiet with natural views. The cottage was neat and clean with plenty of space with many extras we had not counted on. We saw many eagles close by, and one huge bald eagle frequented the small pond just steps away from our cabin. We often woke up to see a female deer grazing with her twin fawns right outside our window.
I will definitely go back to Rossport-Thank you both so much for sharing this wonderful place with us.
