"Very clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the layout of our room very much. Staff called us at 930pm telling us to make our kids be quiet when they had actually been in bed for over an hour. They didn’t inquire whether our kids were awake or what we were doing they instead accused us of Being loud and said “get ahold Of your situation”. It was very offputting. Then my husband stepped out of the room and the staff were outside our door listening. It was weird and uncomfortable."

"Me: "Where would you prefer to live? [our home city] or Vancouver?" My 4 year old: "I prefer to live in... this hotel!" We had a blast at the River Rock hotel during May long weekend. Our little one loved the swimming pool, and we had the bonus of having a room right above the SkyTrain and in the flight path of planes taking off from YVR... built-in free entertainment! Really close to places we like to visit in Richmond too... restaurants, shopping, Richmond Night Market. Plus easy access to the highway to go into the city. Our room was clean and comfortable. Check-in/out was easy too. My only criticism is the layout of the resort meant a bit of a long walk each day to get to the parking lot (across the street and then on the other side of the resort), and the swimming pool was tricky to find. Signage could be clearer. Also the elevators in the parking lot were broken, along with some of the elevators in the resort itself. "
