"Beautiful spacious rooms, lovely views and a lovely place to say. The only thing I can say is that the kids bed was a double not 2 singles and couldn’t be separated and 2 boys weren’t happy about that but we managed and it was beautiful."

"Parking was great and fairly secure. Floors are uneven everywhere. Shower stall was low step in - terrific - and appeared fairly new. Steps to go everywhere. No air conditioning."

"A great value stay in Oxford - the hotel was clean, and all staff were helpful and lovely. Having shampoo and conditioner available in the bathrooms would be helpful, and our shower was initially stuck on very hot water but that was fixed immediately when we flagged this. A fan was provided to deal with the hot weather. The location is handy too - easy access by bus into the city centre, so you can avoid having to pay for expensive parking and congestion charges."

"Stayed here many times over the years. Great location, character building, friendly staff, superb breakfast, easy parking. Tempered on this particular occasion by ineffective room air conditioning and a dog basket & dirty glasses to greet us outside the room on arrival. Hopefully these points will get sorted soon."
