"The hotel is very good and should be excellent. Unfortunately, it is let down in one area, the restaurant. We had issues at breakfast on both mornings as did others seated around us. I would describe the breakfast as “chaos”. It is a shame because aside from that the hotel is very good. The check in staff were excellent and the spa is more than adequate."

"Staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful, permanently smiling and genuinely happy to help. The property isn’t new so of course you expect some of the fixtures and fittings to be slightly worn. However the bedroom and bathroom were cleaned to a high standard. The food in the restaurant was simply superb, good value and extremely tasty. Only one slight niggle was the lack of water pressure for the shower in my room. I obviously don’t know if this was a problem in other rooms though. Overall I’d rate the establishment very highly and would not hesitate to return."

"We returned from a very busy day at 10.30 to find that our room had not been serviced - we had not opted into the scheme whereby guests can forgo a clean and receive a voucher to be used in the bar. Miguel went out of his way to supply the required teas, coffees towels etc. Thank you for your help Miguel."

"Really great value for money! Really nice rooms, with air con too! Great location, close to Oxford and many of the fab pubs and farm shops of the Cotswolds. Really friendly and helpful staff. Great amenities including Dyson hairdryer, ghd straighteners and a 24 hour coffee bar / front desk - great shout! Really would recommend and would certainly stay again!"

"Breakfast was good and faced no issues with parking. The room was clean and comfortable. Some maintainance is required as there was some damp related damage on the walls however it is a old building so that's not to be unexpected with the age of the building. Overall a great place to stay and I recommend it."
