Luxurious, 5000 square foot, four level house, on a deep water cove on Lake Lanier! Located in a private, beautiful setting, with gated driveway. Only 40 minute drive from Atlanta, on Georgia 400. Two miles off the main highway.

The house features 26 foot ceiling with a glass wall overlooking the lake. Luxurious master bedroom, gourmet kitchen, hardwood floors. Two dens, three large decks overlooking the lake, fully equipped gym, billiards table, ping pong, Sonos system on main level and terrace level. Two Roku Smart TVs and two wood burning fireplaces. Wired for high speed internet connection. Private dock with party deck, just bring your boat(or rent it nearby) and tie to private dock. Swim in the cove's calm water, or relax on the party deck and enjoy the beautiful views. Fish for bass, crappie and catfish from the dock. There is convenient access to public boat ramp, Nix Bridge, and gas marina, Athens Boat Club, to refuel your boat.

Only five miles from the North Georgia Premium outlet mall, groceries (delivery available to the front door via Instacart!), 15 minutes from the charming historic town of Dahlonega and the beautiful North Georgia mountains. Movie theater, restaurants and wineries only minutes away. Golf, white water rafting, horseback riding hiking at Amicalola Falls, are nearby. Close to the best hiking and mountain biking in Georgia. Spend a weekend or a week, you'll never want to leave!

Lake Lanier Retreat
Our family (7 adults and an infant) came together for a week stay at the Lake Lanier Retreat. House was well supplied, and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. (a few grilling tools would be helpful) We brought a small fishing boat and parking at the top of the hill was difficult. Spots are only deep enough for the trailer, so you have to disconnect from the tow vehicle, and making the swing with a truck and trailer is a challenge. The house is located on a quite cove and the dock was nice to tie up the boat and to swim. (the ladder from the water to the dock could use an upgrade). This is one of those places where you can relax as you are out on the lake but be in town for anything you need in 15 minutes. Lovely home, and we would definitely come again, as this home had a bit of everything from ping pong and pool table to work out equipment. Nothing like a week of family time on the lake but close to everything. (Sherri was quick to reply with any questions and made the checkin and out a breeze)

It has it all!
This beautiful house is equipped with everything needed. The beds were so comfortable, all the common areas fully outfitted for entertaining, and the dock was very enjoyable. A note for those bringing small children or elderly, there are stairs to go ANYWHERE in the house or outside to the lake. Not an issue for many, but might be a consideration for some. Our family loved this place.

Excellent house for a family to spend a relaxing time together. Sherri the house manager was attentive and helpful. If you bring kayaks with you there is a boat ramp not far away, only took us about 15 minutes to paddle them back to the dock. There is only one regular sized refrigerator and a dorm size mini- fridge on the lower level, plan accordingly.

Great Lake House
This lake house has so much room. It fit our family of 5 with plenty of room to spare. It could sleep a lot more people. It was very clean and well furnished. We did not need anything while we were there. We really enjoyed our time on the lake. I highly recommend this lake house.

Awesome family vacation!
Plenty of room, perfect location at the lake (for boating and swimming) plus super close to all the restaurants and shops that Dawsonville has to offer, and a close drive to Atlanta and beautiful Dahlonega. We had so much fun!!! The weather was perfect, plenty of beds for all of us, and a great layout to the house. A couple of minor "maintenance" issues but the property manager responded quickly. We loved the property!

Nice house on quiet cove
Great place for a weekend getaway with family/friends. Owner is very responsive and easy to work with. House is nice and the teens really enjoyed the game room. Dock is a little dated and if you're traveling with little kids or seniors just be aware that the house has lots of stairs. Access to the lake is very close, but steep and uneven footing. Overall, highly recommend.

A Five-Star🌟Retreat on Lake Lanier
Our stay at the Lake Lanier was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we arrived,we were blown away by how clean the house was. The stunning views of Lake Lanier nestled way back in a tranquil cove made for a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed morning coffee, lunch & dinner out on the deck. Every detail of the house was thoughtfully curated. It was the perfect balance between luxury and cozy comfort and that made us feel right at home. The fully stocked kitchen made all of our meals a breeze. Lastly, the host, Sherri, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and was very prompt with her communication. Overall our stay exceeded all of our expectations and I can’t wait to book again! Thank you, Sherri!!!

Wonderful home.
A beautiful home with a wonderful view, we had all our children, their spouses and our grandchildren together for Thanksgiving. The home is huge and comfortable. If you’re looking for home near many activities in North Ga this is a great spot. We were very happy with our stay.

Beautiful and functional property!
We decided to rent this property to stay with our wedding for a long weekend. It was absolutely perfect for us. The house has a ton of amenities and is well laid out for several adult couples to stay. Great Lake access plenty of parking. The host was very responsive and was very accommodating. Couldn't Ask For Anything Better
This house was everything I had expected and more. The location was amazing, right on the water and in a very nice neighborhood with nice new roads making it very accessible. Once inside I was very impressed with how large each living space was. Having the bedrooms split amongst the floors made for a very pleasant experience having 6 adults in the house and everyone having plenty of personal space. Also the two huge living areas plus an entirely separate game room with a pool table and ping pong table (each in great condition and fully functional). There was never a shortage of space to enjoy. Even 3 levels of deck overlooking the shaded back area leading out to the dock. All in all this house is a one that I will definitely book again!

Great friends reunion destination
We had a friends reunion with a group of 8 guys and wanted a place both away from it all but also comfortable and with enough activities to keep us busy. This property did not disappoint! We had more than enough beds and bedrooms, multiple living spaces, a highly functional kitchen, a private lakeside dock to hang out on, and we loved the game room with pool, ping pong, and even a gym. We were also a short drive away to breweries and restaurants, a golf course, and boat rentals (highly recommend Paradise Rental Boats at Lake Lanier). We had an amazing stay and Sherri was extremely communicative and helpful throughout the process of reserving, checking in, etc.. Highly recommend for your next group getaway!

Great family reunion
Property was perfect for 10 adults and 1 5 yeqr old. Amenities were well used as was the kitchen. Being right on the lake was great, several people bought fishing poles and went fishing. Only complaint i would have is the path to the dock is treacherous for older people. Overall, though, everyone had a great time!

Quiet Getaway
The lakehouse was very spacious and nicely equipped. There were rooms and more rooms for everyone to have their "space". Our family spent much time on the 4 porches, just taking in the sounds of nature. I would definitely come back again.

Ideal location for family getaway
The property is exactly as represented on VRBO. Communication with the agent was most excellent. Location on Lake Lanier: perfect for us. Large cove off the high traffic portion of the lake. We were able to kayak (steep hill down to the water - carrying the kayaks down and up require a bit of athleticism) without any worries from powerboat wakes. Sun deck was very nice - for us, weather during out stay was fantastic! Kitchen stocked with all the required tools to allow us to cook means. Gas grill in great condition. We made good use of the ping pong and pool tables ... We hiked nearby trails ... all in all a great stay in a great VRBO home. Highly recommended!
