"While our overall stay was pleasant, there were a few areas that could be improved. Body lotion was not provided, and we were not informed beforehand. Towels were supplied for our three-day stay; however, two of them had noticeable stains. Also, one of the bedroom lamps was not functioning. In addition, the jacuzzi was operational, but the water temperature could not be adjusted. Aside from these issues, everything else was satisfactory, and we enjoyed our stay."

"The lodge is a beautiful hidden gem! Rooms are very nice and clean. The view from the window is amazing, and you can go down and sit outside to enjoy that view of the mountains even more. There's a restaurant on-site that's pretty good, and in addition to hiking the Falls while you're there, you can do ziplining and archery as well. Great place!"

"We had a wonderful week in Big Canoe. The owner was always prompt with communication and facilitating an easy check in. He was really top notch. The house was a perfect fit for a family get together in the mountains. Plenty of room for 6 adults, 2 small children and one furry friend. After early week rain we were able to take advantage of the trails, golf, restaurant, pool and wellness center. All very well maintained.The screened porch at the house was a great way to enjoy a wonderful view and was popular. Kitchen was well stocked and the two car garage with additional refrigerator/freezer was nice to have. All bedrooms were comfortable and the priumary has a huge bathroom and closet.A great week at a wonderful house."

"Absolutely beautiful cottage!! Very clean and well stocked for short or long stays! Definitely a family friendly place. Close to all kinds of outdoor activities, perfect for the couples or individuals who love to be outside!! Host was amazing!!! Communication was very easy as well as check in! "The location near Amicalola Falls is unmatched. The stocked pond was perfect for our young boys and the lodge itself was spacious and accommodating. The VRBO listing does not reflect that the owner is residing in the property via an attached garage with only a shared wall b/w them and one of the bedrooms. While our group felt that the owner was present more than we would have liked, the overall experience was amazing and we had a wonderful time!"

"This VRBO stay was easily one of our favorites. The apartment was spotlessly clean and is beautifully decorated, with a warm, inviting feel. We spent a lot of time on the lovely outdoor deck, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and the sounds of nature. We had everything we needed, and enjoyed the comfy bed!Verron’s thoughtful touches throughout the space really add to the overall experience. She is a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with from start to finish.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."
