"Very nice stay"

"The property is beautiful as was the room, unfortunately the tranquility was visual only. Loud music from pub was all afternoon until approximately 8 pm, and then we could still hear customer conversations. The next day was quieter but still was able to hear the restaurant customers. No sheers on window and because there is campground across the river we kept drapes closed for privacy, creating need for artificial lights. Be careful in shower, it’s beautiful but the shower floor is slippery. ...

"Room lovely but not well sound proofed and the corridor noise seemed v loud. Great location, lovely decor. We stayed for a very short time and didnt use bar or eat. However we asked if breakfast was still available at 9.55 and the staff said "I dont think so". They could have asked chef, before dismissing our query, so that left us feeling less pleased with our stay. We had a gorgeous brekky at the Anglers by the lock, so if you miss the 10am deadline try there 🙂"

"The location is absolutely beautiful and incredibly picturesque. Our room was amazing, very spacious, spotless, and featuring a fantastic double shower which was a real highlight. The bar staff in particular were exceptional throughout our stay, friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which really added to the overall experience.
