"This was in a perfect location for our stay and it had plenty of room for the whole fam. The house is within walking distance to the Metro station and we went back and forth into the city using the metro 4 times in just the 48 hours we were there. Super easy!! The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. The home comfortably slept 8 adults and there was room for more. The host was easy to get in touch with! We were concerned about parking a 3rd car but easily found street parking right out front....

"We spent a wonderful long weekend here during Historic Garden Week. The house is cozy and comfortable, attractively decorated and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, including off-street parking. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of the heart of Old Town Alexandria and Washington, DC is a short ride away by metro or car and you can take a water taxi for a more scenic route."

"Great apartment. Very nicely set up and clean. Supplies of coffee and other disposables were great. Ice to have driveway parking. Would totally rent again. Only minor drawback was the sound from the upstairs people ( older house can’t totally control)."

"Great family vacation. We walked to dinner in the neighborhood and walked the dogs to the park, and walked to the metro to take in the sites, museums, and even a caps game. Close to the airport and a huge shopping center. We recommend the District Biscuit company...very yummy and close by. The neighborhood is very dog friendly and theres a great park nearby for dmall children to play. The house is very quiet with plenty of room for the whole family."

"Everything was as advertised. The bed downstairs is in a room with very low ceilings, probably best for a child, and the bed is short as well. It is comfortable, but not for a tall person"

It was way better than the listing described. So many thoughtful touches, a perfect location, very comfortable beds and seating areas, and plenty of room to relax and enjoy our downtime before and after sightseeing. It was such a privilege to be steeped in a deeply historical house with furnishings and art to accentuate the experience....

"Our family of four had a great stay at this townhouse in Alexandria. We were in the area for some college tours for my son, and found the location very convenient. We drove down to Richmond, spent some time in Old Town Alexandria, and time in DC. The townhouse was extremely clean, spacious, and comfortable. "Cute place and plenty of room for a group. We also enjoyed sitting outside and using the gas fire pit. Each unit has a parking space in front. There is a park across the street and around the corner is a free bus stop that takes you to the metro. Management was very responsive. We had a small leak and they had it taken care of right away. We would definitely stay there again."
