"This place is a small cottage in the back yard of a suburban home. The cottage is very small with a combined bedroom/kitchen and not much room to sit, but there is a large back yard for when the weather is good. The kitchen is limited, but there is an outdoor barbecue which we made use of. Jerry was easy to communicate with, and the price for the DC area was excellent. It would be difficult to stay here without a car."

"Very nice, tasteful basement conversion to an efficiency apartment with above ground access and off street parking. Modern appliances and accessories. Bright interior with lots of lighting. Modern central heat and air. All appliances and kitchen equipment looked new and functioned well. Clean bathroom. Secure locks. Shopping for necessities within walking distance. Minor issues with a few bugs. Small leak at front door was under repair. We would recommend this apartment to friends/ family."

In our experience and conversations with VRBO support this property would not be defined as not a VRBO due to the shared space. What we found was that the listing does not tell you that you are renting out the basement of a home and there are amenities listed that we did not find at the property. "Great small, well priced and conveniently located abode. The coffee pod options seriously need updating to include just plain coffee. They were all fru fru flavored stuff."

"Stay was great. Location was perfect. Nice neighborhood with plenty of places to eat, very safe and close to the train. Just know that the unit is not stocked with all the normal stuff. Only one towel per person, one washcloth total, no kitchen towel. So bring those things you want and there is a washer/dryer there. Other than that I would not hesitate to stay there again."
