"The staff were phenomenal! From the front desk, manager, and support staff all were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The Monday and Thursday breakfast worker went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and so very welcoming. I highly recommend this Hampton Inn."

"Great location and great view from the upper porch. If you’re taking the ferry to Cumberland Island, you’ll be right across the street. There is no dedicated parking. They offer a free breakfast but it wasn’t set up one of our two mornings, no one was at the desk to get ice, there was not even a way to get coffee. There were 4 of us- 3 adults and a child. "Great hotel with authentic character and charm. This is a historical property so don't expect the latest amenities, but the staff were very friendly and served a great breakfast. I look forward to staying at the Spencer House again."

"Great location. Charming and very clean and comfortable."

"Despite asking upon check in and having the pay at property option, hotel management refused to allow only 3 nights instead of 4 and made me pay for unused night. They continued to blame Expedia but this was something that they could have easily accommodated on their end. Awful"

"Everything from location, staff and room was exceptional!"

"Did not like to have to pay for parking, unnecessary additional expense"

"Great"

"Beautifully done resort directly on the beach. Rooms are lovely and the hotel is serene. Located directly in Jekyll Island’s charming downtown area close to restaurants, the Jekyll Island market and the bike path. We loved our time there!"

"Amazing breakfast, nice smell when you arrive, rooms are very clean (including the carpets)."

"Truly didnt love the $17 parking. For $200 there are better options near by. Breakfast had a varied hot selection, so that was good!"

"Stay was great!!!"
