The property was nice and cozy. There is not much to do around, but Cumberland Island was fun. The breakfast was disappointing, but the rest was OK.

This historic hotel sits right in the quaint town of St. Marys, GA, and right on the St. Marys River, directly across from the ferry to Cumberland Island. The hotel has a great saloon on site that locals love, and a good restaurant providing fresh seafood and other fare. If you’re seeking a hotel that has lots of character and a funky vibe, this is it. We won’t stay anywhere else when we visit this beautiful area.
