Drury Inn & Suites Birmingham Grandview

"The staff was outstanding. The Drury Inn at Grandview is undergoing a complete renovation, so there is a lot of construction going on. It's hard to think about how they are going to make it any nicer than it already was. They are bending over backwards to accommodate their guest, but you can't control the noise and the dust! The night I wanted to get in the hot tub, the pool area was closed for maintenance. All of the negatives of this stay were temporary and I'm sure will make things much nicer next time."

"I didn’t have any issues except for I never got the $100 incidental charge returned back to my credit card. I called the front desk 3 times. They said they returned it and they even sent me a receipt saying they returned it, but it never showed up on my bank account. I called my bank and they don’t have any pending refunds or issued credits. Therefore, we had to dispute the charge."

"We stayed here with some friends and had the best time. Tina was very helpful and answered a question right away. While we mostly used the kitchen on the main floor, it was great to be able to have the second fridge for food storage. The main floor was beautiful with the vaulted ceiling. We also enjoyed having split living spaces so the kids could watch a movie while it rained and the adults could chat and play games or music. The three bathrooms were also beautiful and functional and really helped our families feel at home without having to share these spaces. The dock was amazing! We rented a boat for our stay and it was easy to get in and out of the dock. We have our own life jackets, but our friends were grateful to borrow the house life jackets rather than use the boat's orange ones. Everyone loved kayaking, too, and several excursions were mounted around "Animal Island" where we loved seeing the three donkeys! The kids loved having dive contests off the dock and climbing back up the ladder. It was a memorable trip and we are grateful we had such a great place to stay on beautiful Lake Logan Martin!"
