Come enjoy a relaxing get away in our spacious timber framed chalet.
With 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, spacious open concept dining - living area, there is ample room for everyone!
After your day on the mountain hiking-skiing-mountain biking-zip lining, come unwind in the sauna or enjoy the evening sun on the deck over looking the rolling hills of Strathcona Park.
This modern home has 2 single car garages, a living area, family room, laundry room, and 4 showers ensuring noone has to wait their turn.
Full kitchen and large dining room ensures there is room to eat at the dining table or eat up at the kitchen bar, there is ample space for everyone to stretch out and enjoy your time on the hill!
There is a Living Room and a Family Room that is set up with comfy couches and smart tvs ready for you to relax and enjoy a movie or catch up on the evening news. There is basic cable, Netflix and Prime TV available.
BBQ available out on the deck to provide choices for dinner!
A quick drive (3 mins) to the bottom of the Hawk Chair, where there is day parking, lift purchases, bathroom and a chair lift to get you where you need to go no matter what the season!

This property was perfect for our family vacation! We had 10 people and there was more than enough room. Everyone was very comfortable ! The kitchen had everything we needed and the bbq came in handy too. Location was so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend to any large group!

Magical Christmas Stay
This chalet is great for a magical family stay. Lots of bedrooms, lots of bathrooms and a great room with a gorgeous view. Property manager ironed out the wrinkles and we had a fabulous stay. If you are a large family I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful space for family gathering
The house was perfect for our family gathering of nine. Good sleeping spaces and lots of bathrooms. We made full use of the very well stocked kitchen, large barbecue (with very good barbecue tools). Nice living room space with fireplace for gathering and board games. Also family room upstairs used by teens occasionally wanting their own space. This house suited us to a tee!

The house was a perfect fit for our family reunion. The Strathcona Provincial Park provided wonderful hiking trails and swimming in the beautiful lakes. We also enjoyed salmon fishing and kayaking in Courtenay.

The location and the floor plan layout and finishes of this chalet is beautiful. The condition of the home when we checked in: Food on the Living room floor wasn’t swept. Dirty dishes and utensils, baking sheet covered with oil. Dryer with massive load of smelly towels that we later found out the dryer doesn’t work properly. Garbage from previous guest was left sitting by the washing machine. I emailed the host but they didn’t respond. It’s a shame to see a great property being mismanaged.

Beautiful Chalet on Mount Washington
Our family had a fantastic stay at Sari’s chalet on Mount Washington. The design of the chalet is well thought out with ample room for multiple couples and children to have dedicated sleeping space and each room having its own private bathroom. The chalet was outfitted with everything you would need in terms of kitchen supplies and cookware and even a few nice extras - coffee, coffee filters, paper towels etc. Sari was extremely responsive to the questions we had before and during our stay and made us feel welcome during our stay. The heated driveway and sauna are a couple of other top notch touches you don’t always find at a ski chalet and both came in handy! Would definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway
Sari was a prompt communicator and excellent host. She walked me through all the details as this was the first time I had used VRBO. The chalet was gorgeous and we had a great time. We are a group of friends who were going to a wedding in the valley and we rented a bus to take us back and forth to the various events. It was a perfect getaway with incredible views!

Golf tour at the ski resort.
Everything was perfect, but location. When I try to booking the propertie, web page shows on the map in Comox area. I trusted the information than booked. They didn't show me exact location or address until I made a full payment which is a week before we leave, and can't get full refund. When they released exate location, the address shown at Washington Ski resort area which is 30 min away from the Comox. Somehow, address in the ski resort was very similar to the Comox area, that I serpost to stay. I had to go anyway, but I felt I was fooked for fake information.

Perfect chalet for a large group
The chalet is modern with an open-layout design and vaulted ceiling. The 6BR/5Bath is very convenient for a large group. The kitchen cabinetry is stylish and well stocked. The appliances are up-to-date. The kids enjoyed the TV/games room upstairs, while the adults were entertained in the spacious kitchen, dining, and living room. The large, glass-filled wall allows for abundant natural light. A commanding mountain view from the balcony wowed us. The cleaning service was sub-par; however, the situation was rectified correctly and quickly. We are pleased with how it was handled by the owner. Overall, we are very happy with our stay. Mount Washington Venture
The property is beautiful. Host is very friendly and responsive on my many inquiries. VRBO had the site location wrong on the listing. It is not in the city of Courtenay but on mount Washington. The host is very helpful with the little hiccups during the stay. However no trip is non event, and after adjusting a bit , we really enjoyed our stay in the chalet. A great place for family or friends reunion. And so many activities to do in the area. Thank you to the host !

One in nature at Sari's chalet...
From booking, to checking-in and checking-out Sari the host is just amazing. You can always reach out to her and she responds very quickly. The location of the chalet was perfect and very picturesque, but still within 20-25 mins to a grocery store and restaurants. The chalet was very spacious and very clean. It is very close to all the nature; mountains, falls, fishing area, and rivers for swimming area for the kids. My family, friends and I loved our stay and we truly enjoyed our time there. I along with my family and friends would definitely recommend Sari's chalet. Thanks Sari for being such a great host! -Algina
