"This was a stay en route to Cornwall. We’ve stayed a few times before. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and breakfast though I feel a few cut-backs have been applied which aren’t what we expected of this quality of hotel. A couple of other issues were instantly addressed."

"The sea view room was really lovely, it was very quiet in the evening which was ok but could have done with some evening entertainment but it wasn’t an issue. Loved the fact it was literally by the sea."

"The hotel was good but the surrounding area is very run down with lots of begging in the streets. The facade of the hotel is not as depicted. The palms shown in the advertising are no longer there. Parking was in a local council car park which was understood, but parking was dearer than advised.. No street parking available other than metered. Torquay very run down and grubby."
