"Every member of staff we met was very welcoming, friendly and professional. The room was very well equipped and the breakfast excellent. The special 6 course dinner was very much appreciated. The one concern, in view of the prevailing heatwave conditions, was that the room and especially the en suite was uncomfortably hot and cooled just a little by the fans provided. Air conditioning would have been very welcome!"

"A nice traditional hotel. A bit dated in terms of feel but not badly maintained or unclean. Just not contemporary in terms of look and feel but that didn't bother us. Plenty of hot water, nice deep bath and comfy bed in a spacious room. Lovely view across the sea. When I'm at the south coast for scuba diving i always check availability at this hotel first."

"The hotel was easy enough to make use of town theatre etc. When I booked I thought I had paid for breakfast as well but there wasn’t any even though there was room to do so. Our room was very nice and bathroom clean"
